It is percussive, catchy and polished as it gets; moreover, it is also strikingly mindful. Let’s call it pop with a purpose. What is very clear is that Simone simply accepts herself, as herself.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]12 years and five albums later, folk band Horse Feathers shares a fresh sound on “Without Applause.” The quiet, subtle tenor of singer’s Justin Ringle’s vocals along with the band’s delicate arrangements have earned the group a huge and dedicated fan base; however, this album is about a musical evolution. A seriously soulful, 70s rhythm section creates an energetic and metaphysical sound.
