The GRAMMY Award-winning Dave Matthews Band front man Dave Matthews appeared and performed on Monday’s episode of the Howard Stern Show on SiriusXM satellite radio. Stern revealed SiriusXM will soon launch the Dave Matthews Band Radio channel during Dave’s visit to his show.

Dave Matthews Band will launch their exclusive limited-run SiriusXM channel, Dave Matthews Band Radio, on Monday, July 2 at noon ET on channel 3. The limited-run channel will broadcast music from throughout the group’s career in addition to live cuts, demos and songs from the band’s musical influences. In addition, Dave Matthews Band Radio will stream four live DMB concerts on Friday nights in July.

“We are proud to join forces with one of music’s most prolific performing artists to create Dave Matthews Band Radio,” said Steve Blatter, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Music Programming for SiriusXM. “The limited-run channel wouldn’t be complete without lots of live concert performances and we’re excited to bring DMB fans across North America a live concert from the band every Friday night in July.”

Dave Matthews Band, whose music can be heard across a wide range of SiriusXM channels, says, “We are thrilled to partner with SiriusXM again to bring our fans a full month of non-stop Dave Matthews Band music. We are especially excited to have the opportunity to broadcast four concerts from our current tour to SiriusXM subscribers.”

The DMB Friday Night Concert Series begins with a simulcast of the group’s performance at Ruoff Home Mortgage Music Center in Noblesville, Indiana on July 6. Also included are broadcasts of DMB’s show at SPAC in Saratoga Springs, New York on July 13; at Coastal Credit Union Music Park At Walnut Creek in Raleigh, North Carolina on July 20 and at Coral Sky Amphitheatre at The South Florida Fairgrounds in West Palm Beach, Florida on July 27.

Dave Matthews Band released Come Tomorrow on June 8; it was their record-breaking seventh straight studio album to hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Dave Matthews recently presented a track-by-track premiere of the album on SiriusXM.

SiriusXM’s Dave Matthews Band Radio begins on Monday, July 2 at noon ET via satellite on channel 3 and streaming on channel 716 through the SiriusXM app on smart phones and other connected devices, as well as online at siriusxm.com.
