Listen to songs from the new Prince album ‘Piano & A Microphone 1983’

Please share:

A previously unheard cassette tape recording of Prince, performing on his Piano at his Kiowa Trail home studio in Chanhassen, Minnesota has been turned into a 9 song 35 minute album. The song “Why The Butterflies” is the latest song to emerge which you can listen to below. Another song from the album entitled “Mary Don’t You Weep” was featured on the end credits of Spike Lee’s movie, BlacKkKlansman and is a soul stirring rendition of the 19th Century spiritual.
