[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Phish will return to their proverbial home to celebrate the end of 2018 and ring in 2019. Trey and Co. announced a four-night New Year’s Run at Madison Square Garden set to take place from Friday, December 28th through Monday, December 31st.
In 2017, Phish played a total of 17 concerts at MSG including a historic 13-show, no song repeat residency dubbed the Baker’s Dozen. By the time the 2018 concludes, the iconic four-piece will have performed 60 times at the famed venue dating back to their Madison Square Garden debut on December 30, 1994. MSG has held eight of the last nine Phish New Year’s Runs, including 2018, have been held at The Garden. This year’s Phish New Year’s Run will mark the 12th time the band has rung in the New Year at the “World’s Most Famous Arena” (not counting ’94, when the band made their MSG debut on 12/30 amidst a 4-night, 4-city New Year’s Run that finished the following night in Boston).
An online ticket request period is now underway here. The request period ends on Monday, October 8th at 10:00 am ET. Ticket request status emails will be sent by Thursday, October 11th at 11:59 pm ET.
According to Phish’s New Year’s run lottery ticketing page,
A limited number of tickets are now being offered for the upcoming Phish NYE run at Madison Square Garden via a ticket request period.
All requests, regardless of when they are placed, are treated equally in the system. You can request tickets to one or more shows, but your entire ticket request for all shows must be placed at one time.
4-day ticket requests are available. You must request either a 4-Day ticket or a combination of single day tickets, you may not request both. Requesting 4-day tickets and single day tickets may result in low priority assignment or rejection of your requests.
Our allotment of tickets for each show is limited, so we may not be able to fulfill every request that we receive. This allotment will contain tickets in all areas of the venue from GA floor to reserved seating behind the stage and across all price levels where applicable.
Tickets go on sale to the general public beginning Friday, October 12th at Noon ET at ticketmaster.com or charge by phone at 866-858-0008.
Phish and CID Entertainment are also offering travel packages for the New Year’s Run, which include hotel and tickets. Phish will be donating their end of the proceeds from these travel packages to the WaterWheel Foundation, their Water focused philentropic non profit.
