[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]New footage of John Lennon performing the song “How Do You Sleep?” was recently released ahead of the upcoming 6-CD box set Imagine – The Ultimate Collection, which is due out on Oct. 5.
The footage features the raw vocals of John Lennon playing his wood-finish Epiphone Casino electric guitar, his Beatles band mate George Harrison on electric slide, Rod Lynton with Ted Turner from Wishbone Ash on twelve string acoustic guitars, Klaus Voormann on bass guitar, Alan White on Drums, John Tout from Renaissance on upright piano and Nicky Hopkins on the Wurlitzer electric piano.
The song “How Do You Sleep?” which was originally released on John Lennon’s 1971 album Imagine was said to take aim at fellow Beatles band member Paul McCartney as suggested in the lyrics.
