Everyone’s favorite music venue/restaurant/bowling alley, Brooklyn Bowl will celebrate their 9th-anniversary celebration over 4 days in July: Thursday, July 5th through Sunday, July 8th. The anniversary will feature performances from Love 2 Love: Donna Summer’s Decade of Disco Decadence (Thursday), The Skatalites (Friday), (nO*sO*nO*), (Saturday), and Williamsburg Salsa Orchestra (Sunday).
Williamsburg Salsa Orchestra has been performing at Brooklyn Bowl for the entirety of the 9 years Brooklyn Bowl has been opened.
(nO*sO*nO*) is a brand new project premiering at Brooklyn Bowl on Saturday, July 7th. The band will feature guitarist Eric Krasno (Soulive/Lettuce), drummer Joe Russo (Joe Russo’s Almost Dead), and bassist MonoNeon (Prince). While these three musicians have played together on numerous occasions in other lineups, this will mark the first time they will be playing as a trio using the name nO*sO*nO*. This band name is a play on all of the musicians’ names, KrasNO, RusSO, and MoNO. I for one, cannot wait to hear these three exemplary musicians take the stage together for this storied performance. I would suspect that we can expect some funky weirdness to emanate off the stage that night.
General Admission tickets go on sale on Wednesday, May 23, at 12:00 PM EST. For tickets and information on Brooklyn Bowl’s 9th Anniversary Celebration here are the ticket links by day:
