The 26 year old rapper and producer had five studio albums to his name with the most recent release “Swimming” coming out a month before his unfortunate death.

Willie Nelson To Be Honored Ahead Of The 2019 Grammy Awards

Country music icon Willie Nelson will be honored by the Recording Academy Producers & Engineers Wing ahead of the 61st Grammy Awards which takes place on Feb. 10, 2019.

The academy’s president, Neil Portnow, said in a statement that “Willie Nelson has inspired generations of musicians and fans, and continues to set precedents of excellence within the music community.”

Either you’ll love it or you’ll hate but what ever it is, what is done is done. The latest viral mashup sensation comes from twitter user @noah_charlick with his fusion of 80’s Norwegian synthpop group A-ha and Pulitzer Prize rapper Kendrick Lamar.

In the two-minute clip that has been retweeted as of this article 181,000 times and liked 498,000 times, @noah_charlick fuses the 1984 hit “Take On Me” by A-ha and Kendrick Lamar’s single “Backseat Freestyle” from his 2012 album Kendrick Lamar Good Kid, M.A.A.D City

Watch Willie Nelson Perform New Song “Vote ’Em Out” at rally for Beto O’Rourke

On Saturday night, country music icon Willie Nelson headlined a free concert in Austin for Texas Senate candidate Beto O’Rourke.

With his legendary guitar Trigger in hand, signature red bandanna and T-shirt emblazoned with ‘Beto for Senate’ , Nelson encouraged the crowd to join in and sing along with his new song “Vote ‘Em Out.”

Before he started the politically-driven song, which is a call to action against candidates voters dislike, Nelson said “Here’s a new song we’re going to spring on y’all tonight. Take it home with you, spread it around,”

“If you don’t like who’s in there, vote ’em out / that’s what Election Day is all about / and the biggest gun we got / is called the ballot box / if you don’t like who’s in there / vote ’em out.”

Beto O’Rourke is the Democratic candidate hoping to unseat Ted Cruz from his senate seat.
